- 2 t Garlic Powder
- 2 t Onion Powder
- 2 t Brown Sugar
- 1 t Ground Black Pepper
- As with any rub just rub it into the steak.
- Often I will spray the steak with Olive Oil before applying the rub. This lends moisture to the meat and the rub sticks better.
- As well the steak, or any kind of meat, can be scraped or scratched leaving very shallow lines or gullies in the meat which will hold on to the rub better than just applying to the smooth surface of the meat.
