Praline Syrup recipes

 

  • 2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/3 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. pecan pieces
  • 1/2 t. vanilla

  1. Combine syrup, sugar, and water in a saucepan over medium heat
  2. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Stir in pecans and vanilla
  5. Pour into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space
  6. Adjust caps
  7. Process 10 minutes in a boiling water bath
  8. Yields about 4 half pints
  9. Serve over pancakes, waffles or french toast
